The water is blue and crystal clear if you get there when it opens. As the day progresses, the water becomes more clouded. Get there about 20 min. before opening because there will be a line of cars already there waiting. They assign you a spot on check-in and it is yours for the day. It includes a covered picnic table and parking for 2 vehicles. Pack you cooler, folding chairs, floats,...and go have some fun.
