Simply beautiful! It's actually part of the Yosemite Wilderness Area. It's 19 miles east of Groveland. Search on Google Maps. Visit fs.usda.gov and search for Carlon Falls for further information.
The hike is 1.4 miles one way with a climb in elevation and some challenging rock path walking spots. I wouldn't recommend this for small children.
