The Grounds of Alexandria are a must-visit while in Sydney. Some of the best brunch and coffee in the city, the grounds themselves are an awesome example of urban redesign with vegetable gardens, flower shops, a coffee roastery, a petting zoo for the kids, their own resident parrots, and an iconic pig, Kevin Bacon.

A viking themed bar. Need I say more!? They serve mead and beer by the horn. Yes, that's right.... you can drink out of horns! They also have a great range of hearty, northern european inspired food. A very cool, and novel experience.

Feeling like Italian? Look no further. This family owned and operated restaurant is the go to. It's not fancy, no white tablecloths here, but their veal schnitzel combos are to die for! You will not leave this place hungry!!

One of the premier restaurants in Sydney this place is famous for two things; the amazing view of the house which is directly opposite, and the Snow Egg (a desert made famous on master chef which involves the same flavour in 5 different consistencies and textures). I once took the Executive Producer of the X-files here, and he was blown away by both!

An amazing walk, jog or run, this coastal path takes your from Bondi to Bronte. My personal advice would be to walk from Bondi (change at Sydenham station and take the Illawarra Line into the city all the way to Bondi Junction, then a quick bus trip down to the beach) to Cogee and stop at the Cogee pavillion for a bite to eat or a liquid refreshment.

If you haven't got an uber account on your phone yet, I can recommend that you should for any time you're not around a train line in Sydney (which will be rare) or if it is very late in the evening. You can download the app from your play store or the app store, and setting it up is easy.
