The ferry offers a lovely cruise up the river or just across to Illuka. Take a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal on Illuka side, you will reach the beautiful rainforest, enjoy a 30 minute walk through the forest and catch the afternoon ferry back. Just watch out for leeches, closed shoes recommended!

Daytime Activities
SURFING - Angourie is one of Australia's best surf spots. Pippi Beach, Turners Beach and Main Beach all have good surf. Great choice of beaches to suit different levels of surfing.
WALKS - There are lovely walks to do around Yamba and along the river. The wall at Turners Beach is lovely to walk at Sunrise and Sunset. One can also walk from Angourie Back Beach to Red Cliff or simply from Pippi Beach to Flat Rock, on to Green Point and then further along to Angourie. Please check tides before setting off.
FISHING - There is beach and river fishing in Yamba. Fish off the wall or hire a boat for river fishing. There are also charters available for deep sea fishing.
The Bowlo has mini-golf, a climbing wall and ten pin bowling as well as barefoot bowls for the adults.
