Historic restaurant and bar about one mile from the cabin. During summer, they have a great kid friendly outdoor area with lots of yard games, large grassy lawn, and they regularly hold concerts and other fun events.

Great stop on your way up or back from Bear Valley, Lake Alpine, or as a destination for their comfort food and ambiance.

My Dad loved this place and I wish he was still alive to see how it has expanded out the back with a wonderful outside eating area. This is more than a saloon, and yes families are welcome to enjoy the ambiance (lots of old car plates on the walls) and good burgers. Have some good old fashion fun in a saloon that use to be a auto repair shop - hence the name "lube" room.

Local fave for a drink or casual dinner out. Live music some nights in summer.
