Only a 10 minute walk to one of Iceland's wonderful geothermal swimming pools. The thermal pools in Reykjavik are heated with geothermal water and are part of the city's policy of encouraging public sports and healthy lifestyle. They offer swimming pools, steam baths, saunas, hot tubs and jacuzzis.

A lovely swimming pool at the top of Elliðaárdalur Valley. You can get a bus from the bus stop outside of N1 on Strengur to visit.
