The square is a great place and the place everyone meets up. There's a lot of step/wall type things to sit on whilst waiting and obviously you have the view of the old, wonderful buildings which surround the square. Nottingham is a really enjoyable place to share with friends, family, couples or on your own. Almost every weekend is an event here or show to attend, most of them for free. In spring and summer it is lovely when the musicians play their instruments during the sunset.

Usually have something to be amazed with. A heart of Nottingham city where many festival was held. A very nice place to start with if you go to the city for the first time.
