The Joker borrows inspiration from Joseph Grimaldi; 19th century Islington resident and creator of the modern day clown as we know it. There's more than just a quirky name to this Angel favourite though, the pub is a laid-back affair priding itself on its excellent British food, an energetic live music programme and a divine private function room upstairs.
