Only a few minutes away from Bacvice there is the Ovčice beach. This small, pebble beach is a bit more quiet then the very popular Bacvice, but just as nice. Just above there is a small children’s playground, and a few restaurants and bars.

“This bar clearly stands out and brings some much needed refreshment to the Split bar scene. It resides on your left while ascending the Dosud steps. This place will surprise you with cheap cocktails and an awesome little cave-like room at the back which is carved out of the palace wall. A few eclectic seating arrangements on the steps make for a popular summer choice. It is also a great option to have your morning coffee - the steps being one of the most popular seating spaces with the locals.”

“Bene – city’s beloved beach with a pine forest in the middle of the Marjan hill. You’ll find a tennis and football court there, also a restaurant/bar. Considering the beach is a bit far from the center the best way to approach it is to rent a bike, or go by bus.”
