The pictures don't do justice. The crowds are minimal. The trail is completelycovered in shade so it is great in the summer. I love how clear the water is. By far my favorite place to go. It is 100% worth the drive.

In the summertime this lake can be a little busy but it has a special energy all its own! You can hike around the lake or simply sit besides it and soak in nature.

Bring your kayaks and paddle boards and bask in this pristine lake. This is off Tioga pass so only accessible once the snow melts.
