The outdoor gym at Rushcutters has a great setup, with a wide selection of bars for pull-ups and push-ups plus equipment for box jumps and functional training. Working out here you’re surrounded by an expansive park and a running track that hugs the water. Visit at sunset—the atmosphere is electric and the view over the marina is unbeatable. I love visiting on Sunday afternoons. The park fills up with groups of friends playing touch football and soccer and Oztag, so if you feel like a bit of a kick-around, it’s a good place to go to jump into a game. I recommend visiting between 1 and 3 pm.
Easy 7 minute walk to a bayfront park with a footpath, green space for ball games & picnics, playground, kiosk & restrooms.
Beautiful park right on the harbour with plenty of space. There are huge open areas ideal for kicking a ball. There is a park for kids and also exercise areas for adults as well as a cafe in the park. It has it all.
Perfect place for a picnic, coffee and walk. 10 minutes walk from home. Visit the local Yacht club which is on the water’s edge. Take international or interstate identification for access.

“Outstanding array of fresh vegetables, deli goods, and other fine foods. The cheese section alone is worth a visit. It can be hard to find as it's underground but follow google maps and if you get lost, ask a passerby. ”

“This is the original store that opened in 2002 and still carries a dizzying array of Gelato flavours - Marian always has pistachio and I love the rum and raisin. On warm summer nights prepare to line up!”

“Best Italian in the neighbourhood, fully staffed by friendly Italians. A formidable wine list, a confident menu with simple ingredients done well. Always very full, try to arrive early.”

“A leisurely 15-minute walk through Kings Cross and you’ll come to the hip enclave of Darlinghurst, and perhaps to the restaurant and chef who started the brunch phenomena in Sydney, Bill Granger’s Bills restaurant. Brave the line-up and sample the famous Sweet Corn Fritters and/or Ricotta Hotcakes. It’s Modern Australian at its best.”
