There's a reason Portland's oldest restaurant is still going strong -- their Spanish coffees alone are legendary. Paired with their excellent American fare, there's something for everyone.

The oldest restaurant in Portland and pretty unique. They serve Thanksgiving food year round, so you can get roasted turkey or ham with mash potatoes and gravy and sometimes you just need that comfort food. But the best part is the old bar, it's really worth seeing. And their Spanish coffees are famous, and your server will put on an elaborate table side show when he or she makes you one, and they're STRONG. I'd recommend going during happy hour and getting some food and a Spanish coffee in the bar :)
