"Paxton Gate: Curiously Mind-Expanding Treasures & Oddities" That about says it all. For the most part Paxton Gate is a gallery of taxidermy animals, but there is plenty for the design minded and gifts.

Taxidermy, crystals, interesting and weird shit to look at. I'd say it worth a stop in.

There simply isn't anything like it. Natural science store with vintage taxidermy, plants and all kinds of unique gifts. The staff are incredibly knowledgable and very friendly. Also the site of the "Dead Pets" episode of Portlandia.
