An amazing museum dedicated to boats and local maritime history. The museum is set to open their new location in the Spring of 2022. Patrons can explore indoor and outdoor exhibits as well as sign up for one of their fantastic cruises on the Black River or Lake Michigan.

Small but packed with interesting boats and short films. Beautifully located in the marina. Friends Goodwill (Tall Ship) was built and is docked there. Black River excursions on the Lindi Lu.

Don't miss out on a trip across the drawbridge to this wonderful museum. You can learn all about how the Great Lakes region contributed to the WWII war effort, and you can also book a ride on their tall ship, the Friends Good Will. It's the enormous sloop that you won't be able to miss when you're down lounging on the beach. The Maritime Museum has an extra cool fleet of historic Coast Guard boats, and a beautiful Chris-Craft that goes out, as well. If you're more into being on the water than at the water, this is your spot!
