This rugged, rocky headland ten kilometres from Buenavista is the most westerly point on the island, and a great place to get away from the crowds and blow away the cobwebs with a bit of bracing sea air. Admire the active lighthouse perched precipitously on the rocks, or relax on the bay and enjoy…

NW-Tip of the island. Very scenic road and amazing moonscape once you get there. Ask if road is open before venturing there.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit. You can either hike there and leave the car at the entrance or drive there directly (You need to check times, otherwise you may get a fine). There is a beautiful landscape with lots of cactuses, from which you can eat the fruits. Here you can see the…

“This town is worth spending a few hours in it. The richest city of the 16th-17th centuries, then the streets were paved with marble. Everything was changed by the eruption of the Trevejo volcano in the early 18th century... The lava was moving towards the city for more than 10 days and this allowed us to avoid casualties... Take swimming accessories with you and take a dip in the natural pools formed by lava (in the absence of ocean waves) . Eat dessert at a local cafe (see the section "Gastronomy"), take a walk through the streets, have a cocktail at the Great Small Hotels "San Roque". The best time to arrive is at 10.00 or after 16.00”

Natural Feature
“Hiking in the Anaga Mountains. If you’re looking for something off the tourist trail, head to to the Anaga Mountains in the north east of the island. It is the oldest part of the island, and a trip here feels like stepping back in time to another world. Hike from Benijo to the Roques de Anaga, two rocky outcrops in the sea with geological and ecological importance, or try and find the elusive Roque de Bermejo boat community, only accessible by a three-hour hike.”

Water Park
“Voted No1 in the world, travellers choice! One of the greatest water parks you’ll ever visit. With Thai theming through all of its rides, park buildings, and restaurants. The park's 25 buildings are the largest collection of Thai-themed buildings outside Thailand. Do you have the nerve for the Tower of Power: a vertical, transparent free fall slide which sends you through an area with sharks, stingrays and fish!”
