Lac Montbel is a huge reservoir where swimming is permitted. It has two formal beach areas, at Montbel and Leran, and plenty of informal ones. No motorcraft are allowed on the lake.

Wonderful drive through the vineyards... the lake is great to swim in the summer

A lake but like being at the beach. Great water sports or super place to relax, sunbathe, swim...cafe bars too..
