If you haven't walked across the headwaters of the Mississippi, then this is your chance! Grab a photo walking across the iconic stepping stones where the Mississippi begins! Great for hiking and walking on paved trails. They have bike and boat rentals. Definitely a must see!

Head even further north for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cross the Mississippi headwaters! Stop in at the Mary Gibb Mississippi Headwaters Center to learn some history and take the long drive on Wilderness Drive Scenic Route to view the awe-inspiring Red Pines.
