BRIT’s mission is to conserve our natural heritage by deepening our knowledge of the plant world and achieving public understanding of the value plants bring to life. They offer free exhibits and events, lecture series, and workshops/classes. They offer FREE tours on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month, February - November at 10:30 a.m. They also offer a self-guided tour where you can learn about the many sustainable features of their building and landscape. Self-guided tours are available during regular working hours, Tuesday - Fridays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Be sure to check out their "living roof."
