Hot Pot Chinese is an experience. You cook the food yourself. Don't get the spicy broth though unless you want a numb mouth (like at a Dentist appointment).

Hot Pot is delicious or Item 10 spicy beef is delicious. Fresh and delicious food all around.

.8 mile. This is true Chinese fun food. On holidays we have Hua Guo which is a communal soup pot. You cook your food which you order individually. Meat is so thinly sliced it cooks instantly. I go vegan with lots of mushrooms, lotus roots and anything I can’t pronounce! Go spicy broth, mild broth or both in one divided pot. Our favorite DIY dipping sauce is smoked sesame oil, oyster sauce, garlic, and peanuts for meats (liquid); soy sauce, garlic, scallion, and peanuts for vegetables (chunky); but really any combination at the sauce bar that you like will work. This is where we take our friends from Beijing and they love it. Most of the other Chinese places around here aren’t really Chinese, but more American version of what they think Chinese takeout food should be. Walk past the metro & take a right at Giant. If you only have time to go to one restaurant, this is one of my top three choices.

Looking for something hot and spicy? This place serves up Authentic Chinese hot pot. It is a little bit of a trek outside of Clarendon, but it is worth it!
