Chobe National Park, Kasane, Botswana Chobe National Park is located in northern Botswana near the vast, inland Okavango Delta. It is known for its large herds of elephants (an estimate of up to 85,000 can be dispersed within Chobe National Park during the dry season) and Cape Buffalo all centred around the stunning Chobe River. The park also has lions, leopards and many other species. How to Get There •By Road Reputable tour operators like Wild Horizons Zimbabwe and Shearwater Adventures run Day Trips to Chobe National Park from Victoria Falls everyday. The tour costs between US$160-170 for seven (7) hours. Clients are transferred to the Kazungula border in Zimbabwe, where their Botswana guide will meet them. They will proceed straight to the morning cruise where they will spend the morning game viewing along the Chobe River. The cruise will end at around 12h30 and clients will go to a hotel on the riverbank for lunch. After lunch, guests will board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park. Following this they will be taken back to the Kazungula Border where their Zimbabwean guide for their return transfer to Victoria Falls will meet them. Passports and visas are required for this tour.
