Richland Center is the birthplace of Frank Lloyd Wright. The AD German Warehouse was designed by Wright.

This is Frank Lloyd Wright's unique Mayan inspired warehouse, designed for AD German. The warehouse didn't last, but a local group is working to add a rooftop patio and museum to the historic space. They give tours on Sundays, and it's definitely worth a look, especially if you're an architecture buff.

AD German Warehouse is the only remaining commercial structure designed by Frank Lloyd Wright that still exists from this time period. The A.D. German Warehouse is an impressive brick structure topped by a magnificent concrete frieze. Generally considered to resemble a Mayan Temple, this avant-garde warehouse and attached music room was built for A. D. German’s wholesale grocery business. There are indoor and outdoor tours available.
