Get up early and plan another nature day in a national park you haven’t yet crossed off the list. Capertee National Park is a 35-minute drive from the Retreat House and offers incredible walking tracks and views.

Surrounded by the wonders of World Heritage Listed wilderness, the Capertree Valley is recognised internationally as an Important Bird Area (IBA) and one of the 50 top birdwatching locations in the world. Many woodland bird species whose populations have fallen elsewhere, remain relatively common and easily seen here.
