Take a quick stroll in this neighborhood park which has great views of Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Bridge in the distance. Locals often frequent this park with their dogs or families.

The Sunset Reservoir Brewing Company serves their specialty beers brewed on site and they make an amazing Portabella Mushroom burger and garlic friends. I recommend getting their sampler of the beers and the fries if you're not too hungry. Otherwise, let your eyes be bigger than your stomach and order a bunch of food and share it with your travel companion. This is a local hangout so you'll see lots of techies and hipsters there.
