Great family day. Epic woodland playground with flying-fox zip wire and super long slide. Also woodland trails for kids to explore, easy walks down to idyllic River Tweed views, and open parkland/ gardens - as well as the historic house. Coffee shop on site. *Some areas closed in Feb/ March 2022 due to storms, check website www.paxtonhouse.co.uk*

Lovely day out 5 miles from Berwick. Historic home and art gallery. Woodland walks in the grounds and along the banks of River Tweed. Tearoom and shop. Close to The Cross Inn for a great lunch in Paxton Village paxtonhouse.co.uk

10 minute walk from the cottage. Great play area for children and lovely walks. Tearoom, gift shop, boat trips and children’s trails.
