One of the strangest places in the bay. The Albany Bulb was a homeless cooperative until a year ago when the city of Albany forced them out and bulldozed their home. They left all the art, though.

This is a truly unique place- lots of interesting sculptures, found object art- and right when you arrive there is a beautiful beach with an incredible view of San Francisco.

Set on a decades old landfill, explore meandering paths through art created out of repurposed junk. Beautiful views of the bay and of the Berkeley hills. A great spot to park to further explore the Bay Trail too.
