A great walk up to Pouakai hut, safe track, you can't get lost. 4 kms up hill but views to die for. This is a walk on the mountain that you can do in a morning or an afternoon. Once you get to the hutt, go about 5 minutes further up the track for an iconic and stunning view of the mountain!!

Fabulous walk in the bush to the base of the Mountain where you can obtain a stunning view of New Plymouth, look up at Mt Egmont and walk to the beautiful lakes
