Amazing views of Breckenridge. In the summer, the road is open to drive on, bike, or walk. In Winter, the road is closed but you can still cross county ski, or snowshoe on the road.
The views are spectacular as you wind your way up Boreas Pass Road. Check for winter closures - the road closes to vehicle traffic early in November, opening the route for backcountry exploration on foot.
Scenic drive from Como to Breckenridge (used to be railroad passage), hiking trails, biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing.

“Bring a bag of sunflower seeds and feed the chipmunks. If you're lucky and patient, they'll eat out of your hands! Then stroll around to for an awesome view of Dillon Reservoir!”
