Built in 1606 in the park "Kongens Have" (The Kings Garden). Today its a culture-historical museum which tells the story of the Danish kings through 300 years, from Christian the 4th around 1600 to Frederik the 7th in 1863. Crowjuvels and the Danish Throne is exibited here.

Right in the heart of the royal gardens "Kongens Have" is Rosenborg Castle. The pretty little castle is heavily guarded by the Queens guard, as it has been housing the Royal family tressures for the past 400 years or so.

A very cute little castle in the center of town. It has a spiral stair with rooms off it that are historically interesting but don't go on forever. It also has the crown jewels. The castle was originally built in 1606-1607 as a summerhouse by order of Christian IV, a famous Danish king who built a lot of Copenhagen and all of Christianshavn. It is right next to Nørrebro metro station and it is located in a park that is very popular with young people all summer.
