Traditionally, Banh Canh noodle soup was eaten by Vietnamese people from the South for breakfast and sometimes lunch. Today, both locals and foreigners alike can be found hunched over steaming bowls of banh canh at street carts throughout the night. Despite its outward simplicity, Banh Canh is underpinned with a complex arrangement of flavors and textures. Banh Canh is cheaply available everywhere in Vietnam; one large bowl costs only about VND 40,000- 60,000 (about 90 cents to $2.80) Notice : the restaurant only opens from 8:00 AM to 21:00 PM everyday.
