Easy boardwalk (steep in places) to see the most magical pools. The forest walk is lovely and kids will love the swing bridge. Approx. - 25-35 min walk

This is a 45 minute drive from Escape on St Aubyn to begin a Short hike through Mt Taranaki’s native bush to a swing bridge and very scenic Wilkes pools which are a series of pools that flow from one to another.

Fresh water rock pools/ waterfall on the side on mt Taranaki. So beautiful. One of my favourite places.

Stunning waterfall, with small pools. Do the round walk, approximately 1.5 hours, but you can do the short walk there and back (pram and wheelchair friendly) 45 mins.
