Beautiful views!! Visit on a clear day and you can see all the way to Canada. The monument was constructed over 100 years ago to honor those who fought and died in the Battle of Lake Erie. If you enjoy history this is a must-see!
You can see multiple states and countries on a clear day and of course really get the lay of the land on the island. It commemorates a very important battle in our history. The federal government doesn't build a place like this for nothing!
