Can be very busy and touristic on the weekend, nevertheless a cool area to explore even if you just wander through the side streets.
Very famous London street Market, rough with the smooth, wonderful market one of my favourite places in London to hang out. Excellent Vintage clothes and home pieces and street food.
Welcome to Portobello Road, the world’s largest antiques market with over 1,000 dealers selling every kind of antique and collectible. Visitors flock from all over the world to discover one of London’s best loved landmarks which contains the most extensive selection of antiques in Britain
If you want to see the actual market, go on Saturday. William Thatcher's house in Notting Hill (film) is number 280 on Westbourne Park Road and the bookshop is number 13-15 on Blenheim Crescent.
Be sure to head to the market on a Friday and Saturday for a mile of antiques, clothing and trinket stalls, street food and many specialist shops. Head all the way up to Goldbourne Road and the farmers market at the top end of Portobello Road

“Retreat from the crowds and take in a matinée at the Electric Cinema, one of the country's oldest and most romantic movie houses. Sink into the depths of its luxurious leather armchairs and sofas with a glass of wine (there’s no need for popcorn, as substantial bar snacks are prepared in the adjoining Electric Diner).”
