Great place to walk and enjoy the views of downtown. The Dallas arboretum is nearby too. White rock lake is a great place to spend a nice day. It has over 10 miles of trails and great parks and picnic areas. Its one of our favorite place to spend a Saturday morning.

Just over 9 mile loop of paths around the lake. Great for biking, running, or walking. And there is usually a group renting kayaks as well. Great sunsets from here.

Great place to walk/jog/run - especially at dawn and dusk, just make sure to use mosquito repellant! During the day, pack a lunch and have a picnic! Make sure to check out the Art Deco boathouse, which has a small gallery and play theater.

Best outdoor spot and the only lake around. Great jogging. I’ve done a couple picnics here as well.
