A must-visit during your stay for those new to Portland. Depending on the months, you might need a permit during the busy seasons. There is a pathway to the lower, upper bridges. If you’re itching for an even greater experience, there is a hiking trail that gives you breath taking views of the Columbia River Gorge that eventually leads you to the top of the waterfall.

Great place to go for a hike and see the 14 falls. Fee at the entrance and try to get their earlier due to parking, and there are a lot of people as well during the hike either way anytime is a good time.

Breathtaking any time of year. Plus a cozy restaurant right at the foot of the falls.

A historic waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge. Hike to the top or pose in a picture at the bottom.
