If you look past the 70’s décor you will be pleasantly surprised with quality of good old fashioned pub meals. You might not get the finishing touches as you would in down town Healesville but the views of the valley are hard to beat. Open for lunch most days and dinner on the weekends. Take the Healesville – Kinglake toad to Toolangi.

Toolangi means "tall trees" in the indigenous language. It is a wonderful community with no traffic lights and parking inspectors. Instead, it is a town full of rural mountain charm. Toolangi Tavern is the heart of this town. Go here for drinks and nightlife. It opens from Tuedays to Sundays (10am - 10pm). Closed on Mondays.
