Good and quiet place, with nature and sociable people.

This is one of the most amazing parks in the city, it's truly incredible how the Uruguayan culture values their public spaces and make the most of them. Make sure to visit on a day you have good weather, and sit by the Rambla with the locals at sunset. Here you will find statues, fountains, wandering walkways, a pond with boats to rent, cafes and plenty of space to sit on the grass in the sun.

It's compact but packed with statues, monuments, fountains, and lots of trees. It features many different areas, nooks, and crannies. On any warm day the locals are all over with their dogs.
