It's a nice place on Ilidža ( 30 min from the city). You can enjoy walkings, picnics, playing with your kids or just looking on the beautiful small lakes and rest. The entrance is not free and you can sit in a local restaurant.

Spring of the Bosna river is a public park, featuring a spring of the River Bosna, at the foothills of the Mount Igman on the outskirts of Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A wonderful place for walking along the alley, and carriage ride. You can go tram.no:3.

The place where river Bosna begins, this beautiful park is located at the bottom of mountain Igman. The road to the park is called Velika Aleja (the Great Alley). This attractive promenade starting from the Spa resort Ilidža and leading to Vrelo Bosne (spring of the river Bosna) with its huge plane and chestnut trees presents the most beautiful alley in Bosnia. The alley is made up of 726 plane trees (platanus jarro plane) planted in 2 rows in 1892, as well as dozens of wild chestnut trees planted in 1888. This green “tunnel” has always been a tourist attraction and a sort of natural monument. Visitors arrive by a walk, a carriage ride or by car. Track length: 3,5km
