A bit of the beaten track but worth a visit. There is a lovely welcoming fire to sit around and enjoy a glass of Guinness after a brisk walk.

Located at the Magilligan Ferry Terminal, The Point is about 15 minutes' drive from Downhill. Your effort will however be amply rewarded by both a fantastic sea view and the quality of the food; their seafood and Guinness is especially recommendable. It's especially nice in winter with an open fire…

Everything about this place is great. Plenty of atmosphere and always buzzing. The seafood chowder is not to be missed. Varied menu and if you tire of visiting you can take the ferry over to Greencastle Co Donegal
