One of the easiest to access trailheads into Portland's huge Forest Park, just across the St. Johns Bridge. Beautiful hiking and trail running in this forested wilderness in the middle of the city.

The secret, less traveled entrance to Portland's Forest Park. Take Wildwood Trail north to walk/run/hike in an old growth forest without the crowds. Sunrise and sunset are the best for light coming through the trees.

10 minute drive. Easy terrain. 30.2 miles but can be explored in sections. In the same forest as Leif Erikson but higher elevations.
