Private museum with small entrance fee but you will see amazing gardens and estates. It is upper nw but easily train away ( Red line at Van Ness Station). It is always amazing me how massive this estate is and being next to Rock Creek Park making you forget you are in the middle crowded DC

This home and gardens belonged to Marjorie Merriwether Post, and is full of Russian art, has a few Faberge Eggs, and illustrates how the very wealthy live(d).
