50 minute drive to Sugar Bowl Ski resort. Close enough to get in a good day of riding and come home to the hot tub!

This is my favorite ski resort, hands down. I worked here as a snowboard instructor a long time ago and know the mountain well. Shred the gnar!

SugarBowl is the closest ski resort to us. A beautiful 1-hour drive, but you'll want to check the road conditions if there's been a recent storm as they often close Hwy 80 to clear snow.

With a storied past that includes Walt Disney, Sugar Bowl typically gets the most snow of all the resorts in North Lake Tahoe.

This ski resort has smaller crowds than the other big resorts in the area, less traffic, great terrain and the most average snowfall in Tahoe!
