One of our favorite parks to take our boys. A cute little creek with a great wooden playground right at the foot of Montreat College. The area is gorgeous. Bring a towel for the kids and pups!

Enjoy a beautiful drive to this park. This is a 15-20 min drive from Fernwood, but worth the trip. The park offers so much for families. There are trails, wadding areas in the creek (bring your swim trunks and water shoes), well maintained playgrounds (yes, more than one area), and fun bridges and areas to explore for both adults and kids. There is shade and areas for picnic lunch. Unsure of the public facilities here.

Great park for kids- several play structures for different ages plus a shallow creek running through for splashing around in.
