Piccadilly Circus is one of London's most popular tourist destinations. Sit by the famous statue of Eros (a popular meeting point), or take some photos in front of the iconic advertising screens. From this location, you can easily walk to Piccadilly, Leicester Square, Shaftesbury Avenue or Regent Street.

The heart of London's West End, Piccadilly Circus is instantly recognisable from its enormous iconic electronic screens and the famous statue of Eros. If you walk west from the Circus, Piccadilly itself has been a thoroughfare since medieval times, and is one of the widest and straightest streets in Central London. It once was the favoured place for booksellers and the oldest surviving bookshop in Britain, Hatchards, has been there since 1797. Other places of interest include the Royal Academy of Art, the Ritz and Burlington Arcade.

An odd iconic area, mostly because of the TV screens offering 24/7 advertisements that more or less every tourist would recognise. Why? We do not know... I guess it is just like the times square of London!
