It's about a 2 hour drive, but if you were really up for a road trip for some amazing hiking, I'd say to do it! Those of you who have been there know that it is stunningly beautiful... and perhaps you can stop by Betty's Pies and get some dessert on the way back.

This state park has amazing water falls and an 'educational center' with items to purchase, as well. Many people swim here just below the water falls. (130.0 miles)

Only 13 miles north of us on Hwy 61- you don’t want to miss this! Short walk to the falls. One of the best views on the North Shore!

This is a must see if you have never been. You will need a Minnesota State Park day pass or annual pass. The falls and adjoining trails are open year round and are magical any time of the year.
