This is actually the oldest oyster company in California, they’ve been around since 1911. They’re a major supplier, and do a little bit of retail here on site at the farm. It has a rich history and a great vibe, great juju. It’s always been a big melting pot of people of all ages and cultures. They have wet storage, which is like a big fish tank that holds all the oysters that were recently harvested, and they come out of the water the moment you buy them. They have limited seating where you can sit and shuck them yourself. They also have limited hours, so be sure to call in advance to make sure they’re open.
Wonderful little restaurant on Tomales Bay. Begin or end a Point Reyes hiking or horseback riding day here, with delicious barbequed oysters. Try every kind of oysters they offer, they are all incredible. Not cheap but worth it. No reservations so be prepared to wait.
My go to place for fresh oysters, clams and mussels are available too. Bring a cooler with your favorite hot sauce and lemons. They will provide ice. Drive a mile south down highway 1 to Middleton park and have a picnic on the beach.

“300 steps, half a mile walk from parking to the visitor center, roughly an hour drive from Point Reyes National Seashore Visitor Center in Olema. Getting to the Lighthouse is half the fun. Think Ireland in No. California.”

“The oldest saloon in Marin has had a complete modern refresh, and retained all its historic charm. If you are looking for the cutest little Norcal town, to swing into a 140 year old bar, a serious cocktail and stand-out local produce cooked insanely well - go here! Recommend: anything seafood, the sardines, the fries, cucumber & thyme margarita. Idea: a walk on Dillion Beach followed by lunch here Good to know: 25 min drive from the Tower, it is a beautiful drive”
