Let us introduce you to the island of Čiovo properly to make the best of your stay: Čiovo is the biggest island in the Trogir archipelago. Well, it is almost an island since two bridges connect it with the land and the city of Trogir on the other side. Because of its cultural and historical monuments, picturesque, small streets and art collections, Trogir, together with Čiovo island, is often found on the traveller's holiday list. On the other hand, the rich cultural summer of Trogir, with almost 50 years of tradition, is full of concerts of folk songs, entertainment and classical music. Numerous cafes and restaurants with a selection of Dalmatian specialities provide unforgettable culinary delights. Trogir's cuisine pot offers a variety of authentic restaurants. For a good steak restaurant, you may consider reserving a table at Coccolo Steak Bar. At the same time, typical Mediterranean food is served in Restoran Capo, or to taste a good pizza find place called Mirkec Pizza Restaurant. The small villages of Čiovo (Arbanija, Žedno, Okrug Gornji, Okrug Donji, Slatine, Prizidnice etc.) give the island a unique charm where the beaches and the nearest supermarkets are mostly to reach by foot. If you are into good food served with a view, Restoran Neverin in Slatine should be your choice. While on your vacation, the typical Dalmatian tavern-like place, Restoran Leonardo is Okrug is the place to be. With lots of beaches to choose from (Mavarštica, Kava near Slatine, Kava near Okrug Donji), Copacabana Beach in Okrug Gornji is the most popular, with lots of facilities, bars and kiosks. If you are looking for a more peaceful oasis, there are beaches like Kava near Slatine and Duga & Duboka Bay. Walking and cycling trails are spread on 20 kilometres around the island, calling for an adventurous holiday. One of the most popular trails ends with a small church built on a cliff named Gospa od Prizidnice. To get to know Trogir really well, you should walk through the narrow streets with their numerous local shops and restaurants. It's truly magical. Restaurant Franka offers a mix of traditional cuisine with a modern twist. There are also plenty of cocktail bars, restaurants and gelato shops to choose from.

Trogir (9 km distance from Kaštel Novi) lies on a small island connected to the mainland and the island of Čiovo by bridges. It’s entire historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site, a testament to its heavyweight cultural importance. Everywhere you look, there is beautiful architecture, stunning sea views, and palm trees. Trogir’s Old Town was voted best city-island in the world by National Geographic in 2015, so it is not a place you want to miss!

Trogir is just 7km away from us. You can see beautyfull marine, old town (UNESCO - protected), cathedral, or visite many restaurants and bars.
