The Ginstitute

This may look like a regular London pub (one where you can drink a wide array of gins), but upstairs you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the Ginstitute, a kind of laboratory where you can make your own blends of London Dry using a wide range of botanicals available on-site. Experts are on hand to help; it’s really fun to blend and sample, and you get a bottle to take home. Book tickets several weeks in advance (master classes £60 pp; full experience £110). And don’t forget that the secret to good gin is always juniper, but coriander seed and lemon and orange peel make for some interesting alternatives.
