It's not a scene for singles. It's a tiny little restaurant with a lovely view of the mouth of the Russian River, with an excellent bar and restaurant. Parking is horrible. But if you are going to the coast and coming back from Goat Rock Beach, then you just plain MUST stop at River's End, at least for a drink at the bar. Their chowders are FABULOUS, as are their salads, and you can eat at the bar, so don't bother to reserve a table if it's only 2 of you deciding to go there at the last minute. You won't regret it, I promise!

River's End is a little further afield in Jenner, right on the water. Sort of an old-school steak and seafood house with a good wine list and yummy food. Try to get a reservation in advance.
