Follow along the shoreline and the other visitors behind the coast guard station and bear left. Every turn is a another photo op. The trees and the rock formations and the grandness of Lake Superior are all there to absorb in all their glory

Grab a cup of coffee and go for a stroll in town. Walk left to the beautiful rocks of Artist Point; or take a right to the lighthouse. A perfect time to go is in the evening, as the sun is going down.

After you have walked to the lighthouse, walk the other direction towards Artists' Point. Bring a little extra layer, it is generally a little cooler on the lakeshore here.

Walk around Artist's Point, which is right in downtown Grand Marais, by the lighthouse. Spectacular during and after a storm when waves are big!
