Yes we have a National Wildlife Refuge within the town limits. Great bird watching here and quiet place out of the crowds. Plenty of trails.

All types of wildlife can be seen such as waterfowl, shorebirds, wading birds, raptors, neo-tropical migrants, white-tailed deer, American alligators, herons,and egrets.
